Landscape layouts that fit one page
- Weekly with details (landscape): seven day columns with time, title, location and a line of description.
- Monthly (landscape): the whole month with up to six events per day before "+N more".
- Multi-week: two to six weeks across the page for planning.
- Yearly: twelve mini months.
- Tri-fold: day, week and month side by side.
Steps
- Open the app, sign in with Microsoft or paste a calendar link.
- Pick a layout and set Orientation to landscape (the tri-fold, weekly with details, multi-week and yearly layouts are always landscape).
- Choose Letter or A4 and click Print. The print dialog's own orientation is set automatically.
Why the new Outlook spills onto two pages
The new Outlook prints the browser-style view with fixed widths, and there is no "fit to page" or page setup. The classic Outlook print engine laid out the calendar for the paper size. TriFold does the layout itself, so what you see in the preview is what prints.
Your calendar, mail and contact data are read in your browser straight from Microsoft and are never uploaded to our servers.
Frequently asked questions
Does this work with the new Outlook?
Yes. Sign in with your Microsoft account and TriFold reads your calendars directly, so it works with new Outlook, classic Outlook, Outlook on the web and Outlook.com. You can also paste a published calendar link or upload an .ics file.
Why can't I print landscape or tri-fold in the new Outlook?
The new Outlook replaced the old print dialog with a simpler one that only prints the current view. The Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Tri-fold and Calendar Details print styles from classic Outlook were not carried over. TriFold brings those layouts back.
Can I save the calendar as a PDF?
Yes. Click Print and choose "Save as PDF" (or "Microsoft Print to PDF") in the print dialog. The page title becomes the file name.
Which layouts are free?
Monthly, weekly and daily layouts are free forever. Tri-fold, weekly with details (landscape), multi-week, yearly and agenda layouts, plus saved presets, are in Pro.
Is my calendar data uploaded?
Your calendar, mail and contact data are read in your browser straight from Microsoft and are never uploaded to our servers.
