How to export a mail folder

  1. Open OutlookXL, sign in with Microsoft and open the Mail tab (Pro).
  2. Choose the folder (Inbox, Sent Items or any folder), a date range and a maximum number of messages.
  3. Preview, then Export .xlsx or .csv.

Columns

From (name and address), To, Cc, Subject, Received, Sent, Has attachments, Importance, Read, Categories, a preview of the body and a link that opens the message in Outlook.

Your calendar, mail and contact data are read in your browser straight from Microsoft and are never uploaded to our servers.

Frequently asked questions

Does it export attachments or full bodies?

No. It exports message metadata and a short preview, which is what a spreadsheet log needs. Each row links back to the message in Outlook.

How many messages?

Up to 5,000 per export.
